We are very humbled and excited by your support for this year’s Roanoke Valley CROP Hunger Walk. Because of the Pandemic, we planned for both a virtual walk and an in-person walk and you all came through! Some of you walked on your own, but the 87 people (and 7 four-legged friends) who walked on October 10 enjoyed being together in community. With your help, we have surpassed our goal of $21,000 ($21,000 for 2021)! Together we raised $23,885.96. A check for 25% totaling $5971.49 has been sent Roanoke Area Ministries (RAM House), our local partner. We appreciate each and every person who walked, educated others, made a donation, and made a difference in the lives of their neighbors.
In January, our planning committee will begin preparations for the CROP Hunger Walk on October 9, 2022.
With gratitude,
The Roanoke Valley CROP Hunger Walk Committee
